Job Description

This role involves leading the development and execution of the multi-year product strategy for Pure Storage's hardware portfolio, driving product lifecycle management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative enterprise data storage solutions that meet customer needs and market demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a multi-year product strategy and vision for the hardware portfolio
  • Manage the entire hardware product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product priorities and trade-offs
  • Translate customer and market insights into product requirements and roadmaps
  • Analyze market trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on leadership and expertise in enterprise hardware product management, such as storage systems, compute infrastructure, or related domains.
  • Demonstrated success with full product lifecycle ownership of enterprise hardware, including successful commercial launch, growth, and managing transitions at end-of-life.
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical capabilities, with a track record of translating complex business and technical inputs into a clear, focused, and impactful product roadmap.
  • Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders, motivate cross-functional teams, and articulate a compelling vision to external customers and partners.
  • Deep technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, storage environments, and relevant deployment models such as on-premises, cloud, and consumption models.
  • Ability to define and articulate a multi-year product strategy and vision for enterprise hardware that delivers transformative customer value and market-leading differentiation.
  • Experience in driving the entire hardware product lifecycle, including concept, definition, launch, growth, and end-of-life, ensuring successful market adoption and measurable business impact on revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience analyzing market trends, customer usage data, and business performance KPIs to identify, justify, and capture new opportunities for portfolio growth and market share expansion.
  • Ability to serve as a primary liaison and executive champion in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and finance to foster alignment and drive complex prioritization and trade-off decisions.
  • Willingness to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in an in-office environment, in compliance with company policies.
