Job Description
This role involves leading the development and execution of the multi-year product strategy for enterprise hardware storage solutions, collaborating across teams to drive product lifecycle success, and translating customer and market insights into innovative, market-leading offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a multi-year product strategy and vision for the hardware portfolio.
- Manage the entire hardware product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring market adoption and business impact.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and finance teams to align on priorities and communicate trade-offs.
- Translate customer and competitive insights into actionable product requirements and roadmaps.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and KPIs to identify growth opportunities and expand market share.
Requirements
- Proven, hands-on leadership and expertise in enterprise hardware product management, specifically in storage systems, compute infrastructure, or related domains.
- Demonstrated success with full product lifecycle ownership of enterprise hardware, including successful commercial launch, growth, and managing transitions end-of-life.
- Exceptional strategic and analytical capabilities, with a track record of translating complex business and technical inputs into a clear, focused, and impactful product roadmap.
- Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders, motivate cross-functional teams, and articulate a compelling vision to external customers and partners.
- Deep technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, storage environments, and relevant deployment models such as on-premises, cloud, and consumption models.
- Ability to define and articulate a multi-year product strategy and vision for enterprise hardware that delivers transformative customer value and market-leading differentiation.
- Experience in driving the entire hardware product lifecycle concept, including definition, launch, growth, and end-of-life management, ensuring successful market adoption and measurable business impact on revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer usage data, and business performance KPIs to identify, justify, and capture new opportunities for portfolio growth and market share expansion.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
