Job Description
The role involves providing strategic technical leadership and expert guidance in data storage and IT architecture, driving business results through complex pursuits, shaping product development, and enabling field teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with customer needs and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership for strategic opportunities to ensure business wins and revenue targets.
- Create and influence early-stage pipeline opportunities in AI, Analytics, Cyber Resilience, Databases, and Virtualization.
- Drive regional adoption of HQ technical initiatives and provide feedback to product management.
- Shape product roadmap through customer insights and market trends, identifying gaps and high-impact features.
- Represent EverPure as a regional technical authority in industry events, customer engagements, and thought leadership content.
- Coach and enable field teams through technical clinics, deal reviews, and workshops to improve technical depth and execution.
Requirements
- Expert level knowledge of IT industry trends, broad and deep IT industry experience for Korea and APJ, and a high degree of business acumen.
- Must be able to work in cross-functional teams in an autonomous manner and have a proven track record of working on and leading large IT transformation projects.
- Must have a strong understanding of data and storage technology, including modern IT architecture, applications architecture and integration, Agile application development and DevOps methods, CI/CD, automation principles, hybrid cloud architecture, infrastructure operations, IT security, and data protection.
- Ability to apply experience and confidence to take ownership of EverPure s solution and create structure when needed to deal with ambiguity or no existing EverPure offering with which to fulfill the customer s requirements.
- Must have a high degree of diplomacy and a strong emotional quotient.
- A customer-first mentality and focus, with a passion to improve our customer s business through EverPure s unique technology and business value.
- Product experience across a broad cross-section of technology vendors and specific experience in flash storage technologies.
- Strong executive presence and ability to evangelize concepts to a wide range of personas and dispositions.
- Proficient in driving for results with a sense of accountability and ability to change pace and focus in dynamically evolving hyper-competitive environment.
- 10 years of industry relevant vendor pre-sales, technical experience covering the Korea and APJ region.
- 7 years of business experience with relevant storage, computer applications, File Object, high performance architectures.
- Participation in technical community leadership programs such as VMware vExpert, Microsoft MVP, Cisco Champion, etc.
- End-user technology operations or architecture role experience.
- Experience selling to large enterprise accounts in a presales technical role.
- Proficiency in English and Korean languages.
