Job Description
The Principal Recruiter is a senior talent acquisition professional responsible for developing and executing strategic, data-driven recruiting plans for high-impact and senior roles across global business units, while partnering with leadership and promoting innovative, inclusive hiring practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to understand talent needs and translate workforce plans into recruiting strategies.
- Own end-to-end recruiting for high-impact or complex roles across multiple functions or business areas.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and TA teams to align hiring plans, forecasts, and budgets.
- Utilize workforce analytics, AI tools, and market intelligence to inform hiring decisions and anticipate demand.
- Design and calibrate interview and assessment processes to ensure role competency and high performance standards.
- Promote adoption of new recruiting technologies and innovative practices to improve sourcing, assessment, and candidate engagement.
- Ensure fairness, diversity, and ethical standards in recruiting activities.
- Identify and resolve systemic blockers in capacity, process, or role prioritization through collaboration.
- Lead or participate in initiatives to improve recruiting efficiency, quality, and diversity outcomes.
- Mentor and influence other TA team members, sharing best practices and promoting continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of business operations, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Ability to translate business strategy into actionable recruiting plans and measurable outcomes.
- Proven experience leading complex, high-impact, or senior-level searches across multiple business functions.
- Skilled in sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with market intelligence, recruitment marketing, and technology platforms to drive talent acquisition effectiveness.
- Ability to scale recruiting operations across distributed teams while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Strong analytical skills able to interpret hiring data, workforce analytics, and pipeline metrics to inform strategy.
- Skilled in data storytelling, presenting complex insights clearly for decision-making by leaders.
- Experience with forecasting, scenario modeling, and planning to support talent strategy.
- Commitment to high standards of data accuracy, fairness, and transparency in recruiting activities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills able to engage effectively with senior leaders.
- Ability to influence and mentor other TA team members, sharing knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Resilient, adaptable, and calm under pressure, modeling clarity and accountability.
- Ability to champion ethical and inclusive hiring practices.
- Experience with end-to-end recruiting for high-impact or complex roles across multiple functions.
- Ability to partner with HRBPs and Finance to ensure alignment on workforce forecasts, hiring pacing, and budget utilization.
- Experience using workforce analytics, AI-driven tools, and scenario planning to anticipate demand and assess risks.
- Ability to advise leaders on build, buy, borrow strategies, and workforce capability decisions.
- Experience designing and calibrating interview and assessment processes that ensure alignment on competencies, role expectations, and high performance standards.
- Ability to promote the adoption of new recruiting technologies, platforms, and tools to improve sourcing, assessment, and candidate engagement.
- Experience leading or participating in initiatives to innovate recruiting practices, improve process efficiency, and enhance diversity outcomes.
- Ability to influence and mentor junior recruiters on stakeholder engagement, process excellence, and strategic use of insights and technology.
- Strong understanding of business operations, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Ability to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies.
- Experience managing high-impact or senior-level searches across various business functions.
