Job Description
A Product Manager role focused on cloud infrastructure and data services, responsible for shaping and enhancing the backend systems, cloud-native services, and analytics capabilities of the Pure1 platform to support scalable, high-performance SaaS offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision for cloud infrastructure and data platform capabilities.
- Own and manage the product roadmap for infrastructure components such as messaging, stream processing, data lakes, and cloud services.
- Evaluate new technologies and architectural patterns to ensure scalability, availability, and performance.
- Drive initiatives across infrastructure areas including authentication, orchestration, observability, telemetry, data pipelines, and security.
- Translate customer and internal needs into scalable platform capabilities and reusable services.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure technical feasibility and make architectural decisions.
- Gather requirements and feedback from internal teams and act as a bridge between business goals and technical implementation.
- Define and monitor KPIs related to infrastructure reliability, latency, uptime, and data throughput.
- Collaborate across product lines and business units to align cloud infrastructure strategy with broader company initiatives.
- Ensure platform documentation is comprehensive and current, and design for operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in cloud-native infrastructure, platform services, or data platforms
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, modern data architecture, and public cloud services
- Skilled in working with technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Iceberg, AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially with highly technical audiences
- Ability to apply a data-informed approach to prioritization and decision-making
- Experience with agile and iterative product development methodologies
- Work from the Prague, Czech Republic office in compliance with company policies (in-office requirement)
