This role involves leading the design, development, and management of secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise cloud software systems, providing technical vision and mentorship, and overseeing full project lifecycles in a collaborative environment focused on operational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build secure, reliable, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems
Promote adoption of best practices in software development, system design, and DevOps
Provide technical vision, strategy, and leadership for the team
Drive full lifecycle ownership of services from inception to production
Architect innovative solutions to anticipate bottlenecks
Act as a product owner to drive customer-centric features
Coach and mentor junior and mid-level developers
Lead medium to large software projects, coordinating requirements, estimates, and schedules
Requirements
8 years experience developing enterprise cloud software using Java or related programming languages
At least 3 years experience in a tech lead or similar role leading multiple projects from conception to release
Proven ability to coordinate the work of multiple engineers and act as the first point of contact for cross-functional teams
Hands-on experience with AWS, MongoDB, Kubernetes, containerization, Spring Boot or similar technologies
A BS degree in Computer Science; advanced degrees are a bonus
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects with fast context switching between them
Excellent communication skills
In-office work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies
