The role involves designing and evolving a scalable, secure, multi-cloud platform architecture for Everpure Cloud, focusing on high availability, reliability, and operational excellence, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support SaaS and cloud-native storage services.
Key Responsibilities
Define and evolve the cloud native architecture for Everpure Cloud services with a focus on multi-cloud readiness and high availability.
Own service and platform boundaries, APIs, state management, data durability, and deployment strategies including CI/CD pipelines and rollout methods.
Establish and enforce platform standards for security, identity, networking, and compliance aligned with Azure best practices.
Collaborate with teams on design reviews, operational readiness, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident learnings to improve architecture robustness.
Shape cloud infrastructure and developer platform, including workload isolation, upgrades, multi-cluster and multi-region strategies, and automation patterns.
Work cross-functionally to translate product requirements into scalable architectures, lead threat modeling, and support compliance and customer escalations.
Requirements
10 years of experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering, including 4 years designing and operating cloud native distributed systems
Strong hands-on experience on at least one major public cloud, with Azure strongly preferred
Proven track record architecting and operating production grade SaaS platforms or cloud services at scale
Deep understanding of distributed systems and consistency trade-offs, high availability and disaster recovery patterns, fault tolerant multi-region designs
Strong foundation in cloud networking, identity, and security fundamentals
Experience working closely with SRE and Platform Production Engineering teams on reliability by design, SLIs, SLOs, observability (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), capacity planning, and cloud cost optimization
Experience with stateful services, storage systems, or data platforms
Familiarity with control plane and data plane separation and exposure to multi-region and/or multi-cloud architectures in production environments
Clear and structured communication skills able to explain complex systems to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Pragmatic architect with strong judgment and a bias toward simplicity
Comfortable influencing across teams without direct authority, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
