Key Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of customer business needs and decision drivers
Connect technology solutions to customer business outcomes using the Everpure portfolio and ecosystem
Collaborate with sales teams and partners to create a seamless customer experience and drive revenue
Demonstrate technical leadership and expertise in storage products and architectures
Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations
Create and deliver technical presentations to clients to secure technical wins
Translate customer requirements into innovative storage solutions
Respond to RFI, RFP, and RFQ documents
Identify and pursue new opportunities for interoperability and performance testing
Produce technical marketing materials and stay current with industry trends and competitors
Requirements
Pre-sales experience is required.
A minimum of 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client-server and web-based computing solutions.
Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts.
Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN, Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environment.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP cloud platforms.
Experience in installation and configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystem, storage subsystems architecture, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes (k8s), and Microservices architectures.
Strong knowledge of digital transformation to a Cloud Native architecture, including On-Premises, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking concepts.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, AWS well-architected framework, and Microservices architecture.
Curiosity and passion for technology and explaining and demonstrating new technology platforms and concepts to customers.
Ability to work remotely in compliance with company policies, in an primarily in-office environment.
Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and their requirements, such as structured databases like SQL and Oracle, is highly desirable.
