Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining analytics tools and data pipelines to analyze hardware and software telemetry, providing insights to improve system performance, reliability, and guiding product development decisions within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, build, and evolve analytics architecture and tools for hardware and software telemetry data
- Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to transform raw telemetry into analysis-ready datasets
- Apply data analysis and statistical techniques to improve hardware performance, reliability, and robustness
- Build dashboards, alerts, and data products to support data-driven decision making
- Lead data-driven projects from exploration to delivery in collaboration with engineering teams
- Analyze complex system data to inform business decisions and strategies for hardware engineering leadership
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience using Python in data analytics or similar engineering environments.
- Strong experience using SQL, including writing complex queries and working with large datasets.
- Experience with databases such as Snowflake or similar analytical databases.
- Experience with modern engineering tooling such as Git and Jenkins.
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Industry experience implementing machine learning models, including evaluating model accuracy and precision, understanding how features impact model behaviour and performance, and comparing and assessing different ML algorithms for a given problem.
- Background in statistical analysis such as anomaly detection and data quality assessment is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across hardware, software, and business stakeholders.
- Work from the Prague office in an in-office environment, in compliance with company policies.
