Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining analytics tools and data pipelines to analyze hardware and software telemetry, providing insights to improve system performance, reliability, and product decisions within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, build, and evolve analytics architecture and tools for hardware and software event processing
- Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for telemetry data
- Apply data analysis and statistical techniques to improve hardware and software performance and reliability
- Build dashboards, alerts, and data products to support data-driven decision making
- Lead data-driven projects from exploration to delivery in collaboration with engineering teams
- Analyze system data to inform business decisions and strategy for hardware engineering leadership
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience using Python in data analytics or similar engineering environments.
- Strong experience using SQL, including writing complex queries and working with large datasets.
- Experience with databases such as Snowflake or similar analytical databases.
- Experience with modern engineering tooling such as Git and Jenkins.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar.
- Industry experience implementing machine learning models, including evaluating model accuracy and precision, understanding how features impact model behaviour and performance, and comparing and assessing different ML algorithms for a given problem.
- Background in statistical analysis such as anomaly detection and data quality assessment is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across hardware, software, and business stakeholders.
- Willingness to work from the Prague office in an primarily in-office environment, in compliance with company policies.
