Job Description
The role involves supporting and enabling partners through technical training, sales support, and relationship management to drive growth and success in storage solutions, with a focus on pre-sales activities and technical expertise in storage architectures and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, enable, and mentor partner technical teams to provide high-quality service and support for Pure Storage products.
- Engage in pre-sales activities to identify, qualify, and close substantial deals with partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner principals, executives, and sales teams to ensure strategic alignment and growth.
- Conduct sales training presentations to ensure understanding of Pure Storage's value proposition and industry leadership.
- Develop and execute regional strategies for recruiting new channel partners and deepening existing partner relationships.
- Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise on storage solutions, architectures, and competitive offerings.
- Coordinate technical enablement activities and partner training programs to promote partner autonomy.
- Support partner evaluations, system configurations, and post-sales issues by collaborating with internal teams and partners.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of pre-sales experience supporting the Sales Channels of enterprise storage, networking, or systems solutions to a combination of large enterprise accounts.
- Strong cross-functional ownership and excellent communication skills that drive consensus across groups both internally and within the Channel Partner organizations.
- Strong, business-level written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate Pure Storage's value and technical leadership.
- Thorough understanding of the architecture, design, and implementations of multi-tiered client-server computing solutions.
- Experience in the preparation and delivery of technical product and architecture presentations.
- Ability to contribute significant portions of or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Good knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN.
- Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, NoSQL alternatives is a plus.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, IoT, and associated application architectures.
- Experience with VMWARE, WINDOWS, LINUX, UNIX OS, NFS, SMB file systems, and UNIX distributed network environments.
- Existing relationships with key partners.
- Knowledge of Hypervisor Technologies such as VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft.
- Understanding of Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking concepts.
- Possession of high EI Q and ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Demonstrated passion, commitment, and drive for success working in a motivated team environment.
- Willingness and ability to work in an open office, team environment, with time spent onsite with customers and partners, and in Pure Storage offices across EMEA as needed.
