Job Description

The role involves developing and executing strategic partner growth initiatives, managing relationships with system integrator and resale partners in Japan, and collaborating cross-functionally to position the company as an innovative and trusted business partner in the data storage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term partner growth strategies with National System Integrator and Resale Partners in Japan
  • Assess market opportunities and build measurable initiatives to drive business growth
  • Gain partner trust and mindshare by demonstrating how Pure Storage solutions support their business
  • Establish and strengthen executive sponsorship within partner organizations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline engagement processes between partners and Pure Storage

Requirements

  • Proven track record of growing business with System Integrator (SI) and Resale partners in related industries, products, or services.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to effectively influence and manage stakeholders across various organizational layers, including those outside of a direct report-to structure.
  • Native-level Japanese language skills are essential.
  • Professional proficiency in English for effective communication in a global work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term business growth strategies with National SI and Resale Partners in Japan, including assessing market opportunities based on partner strategy, industry trends, and company regional objectives.
  • Ability to build concrete, measurable initiatives and follow through with tenacity to deliver results.
  • Ability to win the trust and mindshare of partner sales and technical sales counterparts by effectively showcasing how products and solutions drive their business growth.
  • Establish and strengthen executive sponsorship within partner organizations to accelerate collaboration and represent the company as the primary relationship owner.
  • Deep understanding of internal and external process details and the ability to identify opportunities to streamline engagement processes between partners and the company.
