Job Description
This role involves leading the development and management of a Center of Excellence for Program Management Office (PMO), focusing on standardizing processes, enhancing operational capabilities, and ensuring successful delivery of digital and business transformation initiatives through strategic planning, governance, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and improve the PMO Center of Excellence operating model, standards, and governance.
- Streamline PMO and Program Manager processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and outcome focus.
- Establish and govern enterprise standards for Program Management, Change Management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Build and enhance PMO Operations capabilities, including portfolio governance, delivery health, capacity management, and performance metrics.
- Track and report PMO KPIs and portfolio insights through dashboards and operational reports.
- Ensure initiatives are business-ready, adopted, and value-realized by integrating UAT and change readiness into delivery.
- Drive adoption of new systems, processes, and capabilities through change management and sponsor enablement.
- Reduce operational and delivery risks via standardized frameworks, tools, and governance models.
- Lead optimization of project management tools and implement AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Identify and execute continuous improvements across project, program, and portfolio management practices.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of experience in Business Operations, Business Transformation, Program Management, or Management Consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- PMP certification is required.
- Recognized Change Management certification such as Prosci or CCMP is highly preferred.
- Proven experience across program management, change management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Demonstrated ability to increase the likelihood of meeting project objectives through effective change and adoption practices.
- Strong portfolio management and governance experience.
- Expert proficiency in Asana or equivalent Project Management tools.
- Direct people management experience with a track record of coaching and performance uplift.
- Experience with Lean Portfolio Management or Lean-Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to operate across ambiguity and drive clarity.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Data-driven decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starting problem solver with a pragmatic, can-do attitude.
