Job Description
A lead Business Analyst responsible for driving SAP Financials transformation, including designing and implementing SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities, managing integrations with banking and tax systems, optimizing financial processes, and leading full project lifecycle delivery in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities (GL, AR, AP, AA, CO) aligned with business goals
- Lead SAP S/4HANA Financials projects from planning to delivery
- Configure and manage SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) and Vertex integrations for automation and compliance
- Optimize financial processes and collaborate with Treasury and Tax teams to improve cash visibility, reconciliation, and tax reporting
- Troubleshoot complex SAP Financials issues to ensure system security, scalability, and compliance
- Translate finance and accounting requirements into technical specifications and build secure, scalable integrations
- Oversee end-to-end testing and bank onboarding for MBC implementation
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP FI CO modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO, demonstrating mastery across these areas.
- Proven ability to configure and manage Vertex for VAT, GST, Sales Use, and Withholding Tax across multiple regions.
- Deep understanding of finance principles and successful implementation of SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) for treasury operations and real-time cash management.
- Experience in designing, architecting, configuring, and implementing SAP S 4HANA Finance functionalities aligned with business goals.
- Ability to lead the full lifecycle of SAP Financials projects, including planning, specifications, execution, and delivery.
- Hands-on experience in overseeing MBC implementation, including bank onboarding, configuration of SWIFT, SFTP, EBICS, and end-to-end testing for global transaction flows.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on practical, scalable financial solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring junior team members and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure long-term scalability, security, and compliance of SAP Financials systems.
- Knowledge of internal standards, SWIFT CSP, and regional tax regulations to ensure system compliance.
- Physical ability to work in an office environment in Santa Clara, in accordance with company policies.
- Educational background or professional experience demonstrating mastery in SAP FI CO modules and finance principles (implied by the requirement for extensive hands-on experience).
