Job Description
This role involves supporting partner engagement and operational processes for distribution resale partners in Japan, ensuring smooth transactions, onboarding, and process improvements within a leading data storage company.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure operational excellence in partner management processes
- Navigate partners with knowledge of partner program details and tools
- Handle deal registration approvals, rejections, extensions, reassignments, and issues
- Respond to inbound partner queries and redirect to appropriate departments
- Assist in onboarding new resellers and distributors
- Manage and improve partner-related processes
- Document new processes introduced for partners
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese language skills are required, and the candidate must be comfortable with email and chat communication in English to gain in-region expert support.
- Ability to learn and understand internal and external tools, partner programs, and processes quickly to effectively solve partner inquiries.
- Strong operational acumen with the ability to manage multiple tasks and issues of different types and levels, and to identify opportunities to streamline processes.
- Experience in managing and improving partner-related processes, including evaluating operational processes and documenting new processes as they are introduced for partners.
- Excellent collaboration skills to lead conversations with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally in a team environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to improve internal and external processes to ensure the mid- to long-term success of partner engagements.
- Experience handling deal registration approvals, rejections, extensions, reassignments, and resolving issues related to partner transactions.
- Experience supporting onboarding of new resellers and distributors in a partner management environment.
- Ability to handle inbound queries from partners and redirect them appropriately to relevant departments.
- Ability to understand and navigate partner program details, partner portal, and other partner tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and transparent environment, demonstrating enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.
