This internship involves working on hardware development projects focused on high-performance storage technology, including circuit and FPGA design validation, system testing, and collaboration with engineering teams to contribute to innovative storage products.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute a 12-week hardware engineering project focused on PCBA circuit or FPGA Verilog design validation.
Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators to debug and verify digital systems performance.
Develop and refine automated testing scripts using Python or C to streamline hardware verification.
Collaborate with senior engineers on reviewing CAD layouts and schematic designs for complex semiconductor and circuit architectures.
Requirements
Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Practical experience or advanced coursework in circuit design, digital systems, semiconductor devices, and system architecture.
Proficiency in C or C++ programming languages or scripting languages like Python.
Working knowledge of CAD systems for hardware design and signal processing analysis.
Hands-on experience operating lab diagnostics tools such as oscilloscopes to troubleshoot complex electrical signaling and system-level issues.
Ability to manage project deadlines independently while thriving in a highly collaborative, team-centric engineering environment.
Willingness to work from the OFFICE_LOCATION office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
