Job Description
A FullStack Engineer focusing on frontend development, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications for a customer-facing self-service platform, with an emphasis on enhancing user experience and platform reliability in a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable and reusable frontend systems for the Self-Service Upgrades platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to translate design concepts and user requirements into functional code.
- Lead the entire feature development lifecycle from ideation to deployment, ensuring high code quality and performance.
- Optimize web applications for peak performance and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Take ownership of projects impacting the usability and security of the cloud platform.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining scalable and reusable frontend systems that enhance user experience and platform reliability.
- Experience in architecting, building, and deploying web applications as part of a feature development lifecycle, including initial ideation, technical design, implementation, and deployment.
- Expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, including a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and module bundling.
- Proven experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks.
- Strong command of HTML and CSS Sass, with a deep understanding of layout, specificity, and accessibility best practices for building cross-browser compatible applications.
- Experience designing and building responsive web applications that provide a seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
- Ability to collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to translate design concepts and user requirements into high-quality, functional code.
- Experience taking ownership of key projects that impact the usability and security of cloud platforms, ensuring safe and easy data management for customers.
- Willingness to work from the Prague, Czechia office in an in-office environment, in compliance with company policies.
