Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of workload placement features to optimize storage infrastructure.
Mentor and manage a software development team, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
Own the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for the team’s domain using Agile Scrum methodologies.
Collaborate with Product Management, QA, and Technical Writing to translate customer needs into technical requirements.
Implement and promote Quality Assurance practices to ensure system availability and performance.
Requirements
Experience leading and scaling software engineering teams through complex projects, with a focus on coaching, resource planning, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Deep expertise navigating all phases of the software development lifecycle and a history of delivering large-scale products to market using Agile frameworks.
Proficiency in designing and executing critical features placement recommendation areas to ensure the company remains a market leader in the storage industry.
Ability to mentor and manage a team of software developers, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability while aligning individual career growth with technical milestones.
Experience owning the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for a domain, utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality, customer-centric features on predictable cadences.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work closely with Product Management, QA, and Technical Writing teams to translate complex customer needs into technical requirements and ensure seamless integration across block, file, and object storage protocols.
Implementation and championing of Quality Assurance best practices to maintain high system availability and performance, balancing feature velocity with enterprise-grade storage demands.
Ability to communicate complex technical challenges into actionable plans and effectively communicate strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to end-user experience, utilizing analytical thinking and robust quality methodologies to resolve technical issues proactively.
Willingness to work in an in-office environment at the Prague office in accordance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
