Job Description
The role involves leading and managing a sales team in the Georgia region, driving storage and IT infrastructure sales, building strong client relationships, and achieving business targets through strategic planning and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives and ensure alignment with company culture and values
- Recruit, develop, and manage performance of sales team members and extended sales resources
- Manage and enable team performance related to KPIs such as pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, and partner alignment
- Maintain a pipeline of at least 4 times the sales goal
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key stakeholders
- Drive sales activities, support sales presentations, and ensure team members meet or exceed sales quotas
- Achieve business targets including bookings, new logo acquisition, and team participation goals
- Conduct regular reviews of activities and pipeline health to ensure sales plan execution
- Coordinate resources to execute complex sales strategies and support account management
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of successful field sales management experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in a highly competitive environment.
- Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.
- Proven track record of recruitment and associate development.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate Pure Storage's value.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem solving.
- Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
- Ability to use CRM and other online tools effectively.
- Significant field travel expected.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives, ensuring team members attain or over-achieve quota.
- Ability to deliver business results including annual bookings goal, new logo production, and AE participation at or above goal.
- Experience providing strategic direction to a sales team and supporting key sales presentations.
- Ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level.
- Living in or willing to relocate to the Greater Atlanta Metro area.

Annual base salary range of $152,500 to $244,000 USD
