Job Description
The role involves leading and managing a sales team in the Georgia region, focusing on building client relationships, driving sales performance, recruiting and developing account executives, and achieving business growth targets in the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives and ensure alignment with company values
- Recruit, develop, and manage the performance of sales team members
- Manage territory planning, forecasting, and pipeline development to meet sales goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key stakeholders
- Drive sales activities, including customer calls and presentations, to achieve quota
- Support and coordinate resources within accounts to close business deals
- Analyze performance metrics and manage team performance to meet KPIs
- Achieve business results such as bookings, new logo acquisition, and team participation targets
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of successful field sales management experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in a highly competitive environment.
- Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.
- Proven track record of recruitment and associate development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate Pure Storage's value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem solving.
- Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
- Experience with CRM and other online tools.
- Ability to build and lead a team of focused account executives, including recruiting, developing, and managing performance.
- Ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level, support key sales presentations, and provide strategic direction to the sales team.
- Ability to deliver business results including annual bookings goal, new logo production, and achieving or exceeding quota.
- Strong leadership skills to lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives and ensure team performance related to KPIs such as pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, partner team alignment, and POC management.
- Ability to maintain a 4X pipeline to goal at all times.
- Significant field travel is expected.
- Living in the Greater Atlanta Metro area (or willing to relocate).

Annual base salary range of $152,500 to $244,000 USD
