Job Description

The role involves leading and managing a sales team in the data storage industry, driving business growth through strategic sales, team development, and channel partner relationships to achieve revenue and quota goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team of account executives and supporting sales roles
  • Recruit, develop, and manage relationships with channel partners and sales team members
  • Develop and execute territory planning and sales strategies
  • Manage forecasting, pipeline growth, and ensure team meets or exceeds sales quotas
  • Support and enable team performance through coaching and KPI management
  • Establish and maintain executive-level business relationships to support sales efforts
  • Drive sales activities, including customer engagement and business presentations
  • Coordinate resources within accounts to close sales and achieve business goals

Requirements

  • 5 years successful field sales management experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in highly competitive environment
  • Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required
  • Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years
  • Passionate and persuasive with excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of recruitment and associate development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and effectively articulate Pure Storage's value
  • Must be organized, detail and process oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem solving
  • Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy
  • Ability to use CRM and other online tools effectively
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required

Annual base salary range of $152,500 to $244,000 USD
