Job Description

The role involves leading and managing a sales team in the data storage industry, driving sales growth, building strategic relationships, and achieving business targets through team development and effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team of account executives and supporting sales staff.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage relationships with channel partners and internal teams.
  • Drive sales activities, including pipeline management, forecasting, and achieving quotas.
  • Support and develop account executives through coaching and performance management.
  • Establish and maintain executive-level business relationships to support sales efforts.
  • Coordinate resources within accounts to execute complex sales strategies.
  • Achieve business targets such as bookings, new logo acquisition, and sales growth.

Requirements

  • 5 years successful field sales management experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in highly competitive environment.
  • Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.
  • Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years.
  • Passionate and persuasive with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of recruitment and associate development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and effectively articulate Pure Storage's value.
  • Must be organized, detail and process oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem solving.
  • Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
  • Ability to use CRM and other online tools effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.

Annual base salary range of $152,500 to $244,000 USD
