Job Description
The role involves leading and managing a sales team in the data storage industry, driving business growth through strategic sales management, team development, and building strong relationships with partners and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of account executives and supporting sales roles.
- Recruit, develop, and manage relationships with channel partners and internal teams.
- Drive sales activities, including pipeline management, forecasting, and achieving quotas.
- Support and develop team members to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Establish and maintain executive-level business relationships to support sales efforts.
- Coordinate resources within accounts to execute complex sales strategies.
- Deliver business results such as bookings, new logo acquisition, and sales growth.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of successful field sales management experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in a highly competitive environment.
- Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.
- Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years.
- Proven track record of recruitment and associate development.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate Pure Storage's value.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causes and problem solving.
- Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
- Ability to use CRM and other online tools effectively.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.

Annual base salary range of $152,500 to $244,000 USD
