Job Description

The Distribution Alliance Marketing Manager for APJ is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies to support distributor and alliance partner growth, build pipeline, and enhance market positioning through collaborative campaigns, relationship management, and data-driven insights within the high-tech SaaS infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy marketing programs to generate new pipeline and support distributor growth
  • Develop and execute regional marketing plans in collaboration with distributors and internal teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, guiding joint campaigns and tracking ROI
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams to localize and implement corporate programs in APJ
  • Coordinate with regional field marketing managers to integrate alliance activities into broader territory plans
  • Create localized success stories from global alliance messaging to resonate in the APJ market
  • Identify opportunities to expand reach through Meet in the Channel marketing with distributors and partners
  • Operate as a strategic overlay to regional field marketing, ensuring seamless execution of joint initiatives
  • Act as a feedback loop to reflect distributor needs in global campaigns
  • Foster relationships with channel sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives support sales goals
  • Represent the company at key events and serve as a subject matter expert on marketing programs
  • Track and optimize MDF budgets and KPIs to ensure program impact and compliance
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and ensure local success

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of experience in B2B Channel or Partner Marketing, specifically within the High-Tech SaaS Infrastructure sector.
  • Expertise in leading by influence to gain buy-in from regional Field Marketing teams and distributor stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
  • Proven track record of coordinating across diverse teams to ensure unified execution and shared success.
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing across diverse APJ markets such as ASEAN, ANZ, India, Japan, and Korea.
  • Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in a secondary language is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Expert-level knowledge of MDF (Market Development Funds) management, ensuring compliance and maximizing ROI.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platforms.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar Business Intelligence (BI) tools for pipeline reporting is a major plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills to influence distributor or alliance executives and gain marketing budget share.
  • Ability to translate vision and strategy into business outcomes for annual marketing plans and executive summaries.
