Job Description
The Distribution Account Manager (DAM) at Pure Storage is responsible for developing and managing relationships with distribution partners to drive business growth, enhance sales, and streamline operational processes while representing the company's innovative solutions and strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to foster long-term business growth through Distribution Partners.
- Assess market growth opportunities based on partner strategies, industry trends, and regional/global company strategies.
- Build and implement initiatives aligned with growth strategies and ensure results are achieved.
- Gain and maintain executive sponsorship to facilitate collaboration with distribution partners.
- Represent Pure Storage to distribution partners, promoting the company as an innovative and trusted partner.
- Streamline operational processes such as quoting, logistics, invoicing, and demo equipment management between Distributors and Pure Storage.
- Develop and enhance sales, technical, and marketing capabilities at distribution partners.
- Create and manage distributor marketing plans in collaboration with channel marketing teams.
- Manage quarterly distribution enablement funds through activities and programs.
- Collaborate with distributors to increase sales and convert new partners into active customers.
- Leverage distributor relationships to generate incremental pipeline through technology alliance solutions.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders and align with global priorities and strategies.
Requirements
- Experience and familiarity with the distributor landscape in the country or region.
- Proficiency in English.
- A very strategic mind with ability to represent the company, with a strong desire to realize larger impacts through partnership.
- Demonstrated ability to grow business with distribution partners in related industry products and services.
- Strong ability to collaborate with many layers of stakeholders who are not necessarily in direct report-to organizational structure.
