Job Description
This role involves leading the development and execution of the multi-year hardware product strategy for enterprise data storage solutions, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive innovation, growth, and market impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate a multi-year product vision and strategy for hardware products
- Lead the full lifecycle management of hardware products from concept to end-of-life
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product priorities and communicate trade-offs
- Translate customer insights and market research into innovative product directions
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to drive portfolio growth and transformation
Requirements
- Proven leadership and hands-on, full-lifecycle ownership of enterprise hardware products such as storage systems, infrastructure, or related domains that have successfully scaled and achieved significant market impact.
- Demonstrated ability to define a clear, strategic product vision and effectively influence cross-functional teams, including senior executives, Sales, and Engineering, to align resources and execute the plan.
- Advanced analytical and critical problem-solving skills, with a sustained track record of using data to drive impactful product decisions and deliver measurable business results such as product adoption and revenue growth.
- Deep technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure and storage environments, including relevant deployment models, customer use cases, and industry best practices.
- Ability to own and articulate a compelling, differentiated multi-year product vision and strategy for hardware products, driving measurable outcomes in market adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience leading the complete hardware product lifecycle, from initial concept and definition to successful launch, market growth, and strategic end-of-life management, ensuring maximum business impact and portfolio health.
- Ability to serve as a strategic hub, partnering closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to champion product priorities, communicate critical trade-off decisions, and align the organization on the roadmap.
- Location requirement to work primarily from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
