Job Description
Lead the development and management of enterprise hardware products, including defining product vision, overseeing lifecycle stages, and driving innovation and growth in the data storage industry while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and articulate multi-year product vision and strategy for hardware products
- Lead all phases of the hardware product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and finance
- Drive stakeholder alignment, prioritize initiatives, and communicate trade-offs
- Conduct customer and market research to inform product development and innovation
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and business metrics to identify growth opportunities
- Mentor and lead a high-performing product management team
- Represent hardware products as a thought leader in industry forums and with key stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of progressive product management experience, with proven, hands-on leadership in enterprise hardware product development such as storage systems, infrastructure, or related domains.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Director-level or equivalent senior product management role.
- Demonstrated expertise and full lifecycle ownership of hardware products, including successful launches, transitions, and end-of-life management in enterprise or large-scale technology environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related STEM field.
- Proven success in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing product management teams, with demonstrated influence across engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and executive leadership.
- Executive presence and outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a history of influencing C-level stakeholders, external customers, and strategic partners.
- Advanced analytical and critical problem-solving skills, with a sustained record of data-driven decision making that delivers measurable business impact such as revenue, product adoption, or market share.
- Deep technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure and storage environments, including relevant deployment models, customer use cases, and industry best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing multiple, concurrent priorities and complex projects while maintaining a focus on delivering results aligned with organizational goals.
