The Director of International Revenue Accounts Receivable Accounting is responsible for overseeing global revenue operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, optimizing deal structures, and integrating AI-driven automation within the revenue cycle to support the company's international expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance on international revenue recognition and deal structuring to optimize outcomes.
Interpret and apply ASC 606 and international statutory standards, reviewing technical memos for complex arrangements.
Lead the global revenue close process, ensuring accuracy and integrity of international revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable.
Drive SOX compliance and coordinate international statutory audits across multiple jurisdictions.
Integrate automation and machine learning tools within the Order-to-Cash cycle to improve efficiency and forecasting.
Manage and develop remote teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders to support financial decision-making.
Requirements
Advanced expertise in ASC 606, specifically within complex technology environments including SaaS, hardware, and hybrid models, complemented by a deep understanding of international statutory reporting requirements.
Proven ability to lead and develop diverse, remote teams while influencing cross-functional stakeholders in Sales, Legal, and Operations to drive sound financial decisions.
Proficiency in navigating enterprise ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite and revenue tools like Zuora, with a demonstrated ability to use data-driven insights and automation to improve reporting accuracy.
Experience acting as a high-impact partner to International Sales and GTM teams, providing expert guidance on contract structuring to optimize revenue recognition outcomes while ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
Ability to interpret and apply ASC 606 and international statutory standards, including authoring and reviewing technical memos for complex multi-element arrangements, and ensuring policies scale alongside new product innovations.
Experience leading and managing a high-performing, geographically distributed team to execute a flawless monthly close, managing the end-to-end integrity of international revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable results.
Ownership and strategy development for SOX compliance and international statutory audits, maintaining a rigorous control environment and coordinating effectively with external auditors across multiple jurisdictions.
Championing the integration of automation and machine learning tools within the Order-to-Cash cycle to streamline contract reviews, enhance forecasting accuracy, and eliminate manual reconciliation workflows.
Ability to work from the Dublin, Staines, or Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
