Job Description
The Director of Business Intelligence will lead the development and execution of data strategies for Pure Storage's Go-to-Market organization, transforming data into actionable insights to drive sales, marketing, and operational efficiency, while managing and mentoring a team of BI analysts and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data strategy for the Go-to-Market organization, including Sales, Marketing, and Channel.
- Lead and mentor the Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to generate insights for senior leadership.
- Design, develop, and govern GTM KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to define data infrastructure and technology roadmap.
- Drive analytical processes for sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and campaign effectiveness.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven leadership in Business Intelligence (BI) analytics, with demonstrated success leading and growing a business intelligence or data analytics team supporting a global sales or Go-to-Market (GTM) organization.
- Deep Go-to-Market domain expertise, including a comprehensive understanding of sales operations, marketing analytics, channel management, and the customer lifecycle.
- Technical fluency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and strong proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and manipulation.
- Strategic acumen with the ability to connect analytical insights to overarching business objectives, translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies that influence senior leadership decisions.
- Outstanding team development and communication skills, with a proven track record of building high-performing, collaborative teams and effectively partnering with stakeholders across all levels.
- Ability to work in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara headquarters, in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
