Job Description
The role involves leading and managing strategic alliance relationships with key technology partners to drive revenue growth and achieve strategic goals, requiring strong relationship-building, cross-functional collaboration, and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Pure Storage's alliance relationships with key technology companies to achieve strategic and financial goals.
- Establish and maintain executive relationships with alliance partners and internal stakeholders across divisions.
- Develop and implement a strategic 5-year alliance plan aligned with annual targets.
- Navigate and maximize go-to-market strategies that support the alliance's business plan.
- Represent Pure Storage as an internal ambassador for focus alliances and develop positioning within relevant groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience leading focus alliance specific relationships
- At least 9 years of professional experience in a role that has consistently achieved revenue and technical business development targets with alliances
- Experience in developing a 5-year alliance plan in conjunction with yearly target achievement
- Established relationships with focus alliances executives and business line leaders
- Track record of establishing successful field-facing and product Business Unit senior level relationships
- Strong understanding of the operations and motivations of Technology Alliances
- Outstanding communication executive skills including evangelism proficiency
- Exceptional collaboration skills with multiple cross-functional stakeholders from technical to commercial divisions
- Willing and able to travel where relevant as part of the role
