The role involves leading the design, implementation, and integration of a modern Configure-to-Order (CTO) CPQ platform within a large enterprise, driving transformative IT architecture and cross-functional solutions to enhance business processes and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical architecture and implementation of the end-to-end CTO Configure-to-Order (CTO CPQ) platform.
Design and govern integration architecture between CPQ, CRM, ERP, PLM, and Order Management systems.
Develop complex, data-driven product and service configuration and pricing models.
Establish best practices for configuration rule management, data standardization, and maintaining a single source of truth.
Partner with teams to migrate legacy systems and processes to the CTO platform, ensuring minimal disruption.
Architect the CPQ system for high maintainability and operational autonomy during high-velocity periods like NPI.
Implement and oversee transformative initiatives to migrate organizations toward CTO across multiple enterprise systems.
Ensure system scalability, performance, and integration through APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
Requirements
A Master’s degree is required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative technical field.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT, with a significant emphasis on designing, implementing, and managing large-scale enterprise applications and integrated platforms.
Deep, practical understanding of critical business processes, including Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, Subscription and Recurring Revenue Management, and end-to-end ERP Order-to-Cash business processes and solutions.
Experience in designing, building, and implementing a modern Configure-to-Order CTO Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) platform and driving its seamless, robust integration across the entire quote-to-cash process, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Ability to serve as the principal architect for the end-to-end CTO CPQ solution, including defining the technical roadmap, selecting appropriate technologies, and guiding implementation to ensure scalability, performance, and alignment with future business models such as subscription and consumption-based services.
Design and govern the integration architecture between CPQ, CRM, ERP, Fulfillment, PLM, and Order Management Systems, ensuring master data consistency and seamless transaction flow from quote generation to order fulfillment and invoicing.
Define sophisticated, data-driven product and service models, including Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, advanced configuration rules, and compatibility dependency logic, enabling accurate configuration and pricing of complex, customized solutions.
Establish best practices for configuration rule authoring, maintenance, and deployment, standardizing data constructs for one-time purchases, subscriptions, and service models to ensure high data quality and a single source of truth for product definition.
Partner with execution teams of major transformative projects to migrate existing legacy systems and business processes to the new CTO paradigm, minimizing disruption and maximizing business value.
Architect the CPQ system for high maintainability and autonomy, especially during high-velocity periods like New Product Introduction (NPI), allowing business operations and administrative teams to manage product life cycles and configuration changes with minimal IT dependency.
Work in an in-office environment at the OFFICE_LOCATION in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
Experience with APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and master data flow to support system integrations.
Ability to define data-driven configuration architecture where and how rules are housed across a rules engine and master data repository.
Knowledge of ensuring scalability and maintainability of CPQ systems throughout product lifecycles, including New Product Introduction (NPI).
