Job Description
This role involves designing and developing scalable microservices and SaaS platforms within a cutting-edge data storage company, focusing on high-quality code, collaboration, and innovation to deliver secure and reliable products for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SaaS microservices and integrate new features into Portworx products
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, testing, and documentation for developed features
- Collaborate with stakeholders to take solutions from initial design to production deployment
- Own the design and development of microservices, ensuring scalability and reliability in a distributed system
- Experiment with new technologies to innovate and improve solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- At least 4 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing various product components using one or more of the following languages: C, Java, or Go.
- Good understanding of Microservices Architecture and SaaS-based scalable platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing high-quality, testable, maintainable, and production-grade microservices, and deploying them in cloud environments using knowledge of cloud infrastructure, deployments, and continuous integration.
- Experience designing and owning microservices to operate and scale in a distributed system architecture.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including product management and customer beta partners, in designing highly scalable and production-quality software.
- Proven design sensibility and willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment.
- Solid computer science background in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
