Key Responsibilities
Own the pricing and structuring of complex deals across the U.S. and Canada.
Design end-to-end commercial strategies for CAPEX and OPEX transactions.
Develop business cases and ROI analyses to demonstrate value propositions.
Apply pricing frameworks and investment criteria to govern discounts and terms.
Analyze deal patterns to create repeatable playbooks and improve win rates.
Utilize tools like SFDC and Tableau to analyze pipeline trends and provide insights.
Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to finalize high-stakes contracts.
Requirements
Experience in financial modeling, deal structuring, and commercial finance, including understanding of hardware CAPEX and subscription OPEX business models.
Ability to lead end-to-end commercial design for CAPEX and OPEX transactions, acting as a strategic advisor to Sales leadership to shape pricing, deal structures, and negotiation approaches.
Proficiency in building comprehensive business cases and TCO ROI analyses that articulate the value of Evergreen and Capex offers, including complex OPEX conversions and trade-in constructs.
Knowledge of applying pricing frameworks and investment criteria to govern discounts and non-standard commercial terms, ensuring proposals balance customer needs with Pure s risk profile and revenue accounting standards.
Ability to analyze common deal patterns in renewals and expansions to develop repeatable playbooks and structures that improve win rates across the Americas.
Experience utilizing tools such as SFDC, Tableau, and G-Sheets to analyze pipeline trends, ROI, and provide actionable insights for commercial decision-making.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional collaboration efforts across Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to resolve technical hurdles and finalize high-stakes contracts.
Ability to simplify complex financial data into compelling commercial language to influence internal executives and customer-facing negotiations.
Physical presence required in an in-office environment at either the Santa Clara, CA or New York, NY office, in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
