The Data Mobility Solutions Architect is a technical leader responsible for designing and executing complex data migration strategies, guiding global teams, and ensuring successful customer data mobility projects across various storage and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute complex data mobility strategies to meet customer business goals
Collaborate with sales and professional services to develop tailored migration solutions
Lead end-to-end delivery of migration projects, providing architectural oversight and technical resolution
Serve as a subject matter expert in data mobility, defining best practices and creating technical documentation
Mentor migration engineers and promote team capability development
Manage cross-functional relationships across global teams and stakeholders
Troubleshoot complex architecture issues and ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
Proven mastery in designing and executing data mobility solutions across multiple domains, specifically requiring expertise in Block Data, NFS SMB CIFS, Object Storage, and Host Cloud-based migrations.
Strong ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions, with experience leading pre-sales scoping, RFP responses, and executive-level presentations.
Demonstrated experience guiding global projects and mentoring technical teams, with the ability to troubleshoot complex architecture issues and drive continuous improvement in service delivery methodologies.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of building trust with customers and navigating critical escalations with a focus on successful outcomes.
Demonstrated success in customer-facing consulting roles with a strong focus on pre-sales engineering, solution design, and technical implementation.
Extensive experience in UNIX system administration, including NFS protocol management, multipathing, file transfer workflows, and file system security.
Strong working knowledge of major enterprise operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and AIX.
Expert-level proficiency in NAS technologies, including NFS, SMB CIFS, and Object protocols, as well as file system permissions, encryption, and secure data access.
