Job Description
The Corporate Account Executive at Pure Storage is responsible for selling data storage solutions to mid-market accounts in the Northeast region through a remote, B2B sales approach, focusing on prospecting, closing deals, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Pure Storage solutions remotely to mid-market SLED accounts in the Northeast region.
- Develop and execute account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to close deals.
- Build channel relationships to bring sales and technical resources to opportunities.
- Prospect into and penetrate new accounts, reaching decision-makers and closing sales.
- Develop and present proposals demonstrating how Pure Storage solutions meet customer objectives.
- Manage sales pipeline, focus on conversion success, and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
Requirements
- A consistent track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business in a B2B technology sales environment.
- Experience working in or understanding sales channel selling models.
- Demonstrated achievement in winning net new logos and building a book of business by prospecting into and penetrating new accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.
- Completion of business value selling (BVS) training or other relevant B2B sales training systems.
- Ability and desire to work the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Experience in developing and presenting proposals that demonstrate the ability of the solution to meet customer business objectives and justify the sale.
- Ability to manage and accurately forecast sales pipeline with a focus on conversion success.
- Work from the Chicago office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
