Job Description
The Corporate Account Executive at Pure Storage is responsible for selling data storage solutions to mid-market accounts within a designated territory, focusing on prospecting, closing deals, and building strong customer relationships in a primarily in-office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell directly to mid-market accounts within the Rockies region through an inside sales environment
- Develop and execute account strategies and coordinate team efforts with partners to close deals
- Build channel relationships to leverage sales and technical resources for opportunities
- Prospect into new accounts, engage decision-makers, and close sales
- Develop and present proposals demonstrating how Pure Storage solutions meet customer objectives
- Manage sales pipeline to ensure high conversion rates and accurate forecasting
Requirements
- A consistent track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business in a B2B technology sales environment.
- Experience working in or understanding sales channel selling models.
- Demonstrated achievement in winning net new logos and building a book of business by prospecting into and penetrating new accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.
- Completion of business value selling (BVS) training or other relevant B2B sales training systems.
- Ability and desire to work the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Strong skills in developing and presenting proposals that demonstrate the ability of the Pure Storage solution to meet customers' business objectives and justify the sale.
- Experience in managing a sales pipeline with a focus on conversion success and delivering an accurate forecast.
- Willingness to work primarily in an in-office environment in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
