Job Description

A Consulting Field Solution Architect specializing in unstructured data, responsible for promoting Pure Storage solutions through technical evangelism, customer engagement, solution design, and industry expertise to drive digital transformation and solution adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Pure Storage solutions and share technical knowledge through community engagement, webinars, and presentations.
  • Advise customers and field teams on architecting, managing, and scaling unstructured data systems.
  • Participate in customer demos, proof-of-concepts, and solution-focused activities to demonstrate product capabilities.
  • Create technical content such as walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides for unstructured data solutions.
  • Engage with internal teams and external partners to influence solutions roadmap and gather feedback on field impact.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SMB, NFS, Object storage, file protocols, TCP IP networking, NAS, and enterprise datacenter design.
  • Deep expertise in unstructured data, including legacy challenges, key use cases, solution areas, innovation trends, and industry direction.
  • Ten (10) years of IT and cloud infrastructure experience across compute, storage, networking, cloud, business continuity, and performance.
  • Expertise in NAS architecture, design, and solution development for enterprise environments.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset focused on solving challenges and delivering meaningful business outcomes.
  • Experience in designing and supporting data architectures for large enterprises.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies and apply innovative, creative thinking.
  • Exceptional content creation, public speaking, technical training, and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about learning, teaching, mentoring, and coaching team members.
  • Highly collaborative, able to partner across organizations including sales and alliances to deliver compelling technical messaging.
  • Effective communicator capable of engaging constructively with leadership, peers, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and experience operating in fast-paced, rapidly evolving technology environments.
  • Ability to generate differentiated, proactive ideas that support solution adoption and drive sales outcomes.
