This role involves leading and supporting the development and deployment of Cyber Resilience and Cybersecurity solutions, providing technical guidance, enablement, and strategic insights to sales teams and partners in a fast-growing tech company focused on data storage and security.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver field-facing solutions content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides for Cyber Resilience solutions.
Participate in customer-facing activities including calls, demos, proof of concepts, and executive briefings to promote Cyber Resilience offerings.
Contribute to solutions roadmap discussions and provide feedback from the field to product management and solutions architects.
Stay informed about advancements in internal and external cybersecurity products and market trends.
Enable and support sales teams and channel partners through training, webinars, and presentations on Cyber Resilience and cybersecurity technologies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and other departments to align initiatives and go-to-market strategies.
Engage with partners and internal teams to qualify and position Cyber Resilience opportunities effectively.
Requirements
10 years of experience in the Information Security field, including hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security architectures and standards.
Previous experience working in the financial services sector is highly preferred, but not required.
Deep understanding of industry standard security frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, MITRE ATT&CK, CIA Triad, etc.
Familiarity with Governance, Risk, Compliance models across multiple verticals.
Expert level experience with security technologies and concepts such as SIEM, XDR, SOAR, IAM, DLP, EDR, etc.
Familiarity with threat modeling, penetration testing, vulnerability management, incident analysis and response, and forensic analysis and investigations.
Understanding of modern cyber threat and vulnerabilities landscape.
Working knowledge of cyber attack chains and potential mitigating factors.
Professional level Information Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, or CCSK are strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of infrastructure servers, networking, storage, and related technologies and their role in a Cyber Resilience strategy.
Ability to travel throughout the US, Canada, and other territories as required.
Exceptional level of specialized sales experience with Cybersecurity product solutions at both the technical and executive level.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
Ability to articulate and understand customer strategy and Pure Storage’s solution strategy to a technical level of detail for the Cybersecurity domain and teach systems engineers and account executives these concepts.
Strong technical and tactical problem solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs.
Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
