The role involves providing technical guidance, enablement, and support for Analytics AI solutions in a pre-sales capacity, focusing on customer engagement, content creation, and strategic collaboration to drive AI opportunities within the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with account teams to review territory plans and identify AI opportunities within customers.
Create solutions content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, demos, and qualification guides.
Enable the field through solution area enablement projects and training.
Conduct webinars, events, and presentations to promote Analytics AI solutions.
Engage with customers through calls, demos, POCs, and internal strategy sessions.
Stay updated on product advancements and formalize enablement plans.
Participate in solutions roadmap discussions and provide field feedback to product teams.
Oversee field testing of solutions and document insights.
Assist in troubleshooting post-sales with expert knowledge of solutions.
Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to align initiatives and gather feedback.
Requirements
5 years of Pre-sales experience in IT covering both private and public sector accounts.
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Must speak German and English fluently.
Strong technical acumen in the Analytics AI space with deep interest and vision for the industry, including understanding of the underlying architecture of AI, infrastructure servers, networking, storage, and how various applications technologies such as Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Vertica, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc., play together in a data pipeline.
Experience with modern application stacks, including knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and container-native storage (e.g., Portworx) in the context of AI pipelines, is highly desirable.
Previous hands-on experience executing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and demonstrations.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, understandable manner to teach account teams and partners about Analytics AI solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills with experience in complex engineering designs.
Ability to travel up to 50% within the DACH region.
Strong work ethic, attitude, and follow-through ability.
