Job Description
The role involves providing technical guidance, enablement, and support for Analytics AI solutions, engaging with customers and internal teams to drive AI opportunities, create content, conduct demonstrations, and stay updated on industry advancements within a high-performance data storage environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with account teams to identify and qualify Analytics AI opportunities and generate sales pipeline.
- Create technical content such as solutions guides, demos, and deep dives for Analytics AI solutions.
- Enable the field through solution enablement projects, webinars, and presentations to promote Analytics AI adoption.
- Engage with customers via calls, demos, proof of concepts, and strategy sessions to support solution deployment.
- Stay informed on product advancements and formalize enablement plans for new and existing solutions.
- Participate in solutions roadmap discussions, providing field feedback and influencing product development.
- Oversee field testing of solutions to gather practical insights and improve offerings.
- Assist in troubleshooting post-sales issues with expert technical knowledge.
- Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to align initiatives and gather feedback.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of pre-sales experience in IT covering both private and public sector accounts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must speak German and English fluently.
- Strong technical acumen in the Analytics AI space with deep interest and vision for the industry, including understanding of the underlying architecture of AI, infrastructure servers, networking, storage, and how various applications technologies such as Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Vertica, TensorFlow, and PyTorch all play together at Pure for specific customer outcomes.
- Experience with modern application stacks, including knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and container-native storage such as Portworx, in the context of AI pipelines, is highly desirable.
- Previous hands-on experience executing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and demonstrations.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, understandable manner to teach account teams and partners about Pure's Analytics AI solutions, with excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills with experience in complex engineering designs.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the DACH region.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to follow through on tasks.
