A strategic leadership role responsible for managing global accounts, driving sales initiatives, leading a high-performing sales team, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue and business growth for Pure Storage.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the business strategy for global accounts aligned with organizational goals
Lead and develop a high-performance sales team to achieve bookings, sales development, and forecast targets
Drive operational excellence through data analysis and pipeline management to close deals effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with product development and customer satisfaction
Provide leadership and oversight for strategic initiatives and change management within accounts
Maintain accountability for achieving revenue and organizational goals
Communicate with executive leadership to align business objectives and strategies
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure long-term account success
Oversee financial performance including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis
Act as the primary client advocate, ensuring high levels of service and client satisfaction
Requirements
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams with at least 5 successful years of global field sales management experience.
Experience in defining and executing the overall business strategy for global accounts, aligning with organizational goals and financial targets.
Experience in developing and managing accounts to generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas.
Advanced skill set and experience working and selling into the financial services industry.
Experience running large revenue streams of 100 million USD or more, with a proven track record of closing large, single deals with Global Enterprise customers.
In-depth technical knowledge of Pure Storage's portfolio with the ability to create holistic business solutions for customers.
Ability to create a business case justifying desired investments, utilizing data and business acumen to demonstrate results and revenue impact.
Credibility, savvy, and influence to understand and scale customer organizations at various levels.
Ability to navigate and understand internal dynamics within global accounts quickly and effectively.
Proven success at effectively alternating between player and coach roles to drive results.
Excellent communication skills to engage with leaders at all levels, including C-suite executives, to establish open and trusting relationships.
Strong financial oversight skills, including budget management, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
Ability to act as the primary client advocate within the company, ensuring client needs are met with the highest level of service.
