Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the business strategy for global accounts in alignment with organizational goals
Lead and develop a high-performance sales team to achieve bookings, sales development, and forecast targets
Drive operational excellence through data analysis and pipeline management to close deals effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with product development and customer satisfaction
Provide leadership and oversight for strategic initiatives and change management within accounts
Achieve financial goals through budget management, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis
Act as the primary client advocate, ensuring high levels of service and client satisfaction
Manage and develop accounts to generate revenue and meet organizational quotas
Navigate complex global accounts to understand internal dynamics and influence decision-making
Communicate effectively with executive leadership to align business objectives and strategies
Requirements
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams with at least 5 successful years of global field sales management experience.
Experience in defining and executing the overall business strategy for global accounts, aligning with organizational goals and financial targets.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage accounts to generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas.
Advanced skill set and experience working and selling into the financial services industry.
Experience running large revenue streams of at least 100 million USD, with a proven track record of closing large, single deals with Global Enterprise customers.
In-depth technical knowledge of Pure Storage's portfolio with the ability to create holistic business solutions for customers.
Ability to create a business case justifying desired investments, utilizing data and business acumen to demonstrate results and revenue impact.
Strong influence, credibility, and savvy to understand and navigate customer organizations at various levels.
Ability to navigate and understand internal dynamics within global accounts quickly and effectively.
Proven success at effectively alternating between a player and coach to drive results in a leadership role.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align sales strategies with product development and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Ability to communicate effectively with leaders at all levels, including C-suite executives, to establish open and trusting relationships.
Experience in driving operational excellence through data-driven analysis, pipeline management, and forecasting activities.
Ability to provide leadership, oversight, and change management to extended teams aligned with strategic initiatives.
Experience in overseeing financial performance of accounts, including budget management, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Ability to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure long-term account success.
Strong business acumen to create business cases and justify investments based on expected results and revenue impact.
