Job Description
This role involves designing and building a high-performance, reliable, and scalable cloud-based block storage platform using systems programming languages, primarily C, to support mission-critical applications and databases in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, reliable cloud storage systems
- Develop and deliver security features for the FlashArray product from concept to deployment
- Analyze and resolve complex system challenges to enhance security and performance
- Collaborate with team members to develop and improve storage platform solutions
- Work on building an enterprise-grade, software-defined block storage platform in the cloud
Requirements
- Experience working with a systems programming language such as C, Python, Golang, or similar.
- Practical engagement in any systems software domain, which may include distributed systems, operating systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
- A background in embedded programming and storage systems can further enhance your impact within our team.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work from the Prague office in an in-office environment, in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
