Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards using Tableau to visualize complex data for diverse audiences
Collaborate with data engineering to define and improve data models, datasets, and data pipelines
Gather requirements from stakeholders for key KPIs and support ad-hoc data analysis
Optimize dashboards for performance, consistency, and efficiency, including consolidating or retiring redundant reports
Manage the full lifecycle of dashboards from requirements gathering to visualization, deployment, and maintenance
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Server, and Cloud.
Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to query and manipulate large datasets and create complex dashboards using LOD calculations, table calculations, and parameters.
Experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analysis with a solid understanding of data modeling best practices.
Experience working directly with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Proven ability to manage the full dashboard lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and data modeling to visualization, stakeholder rollout, and iterative maintenance.
Deep understanding of BI best practices, including establishing naming conventions, refactoring inefficient calculations, and designing tailored dashboards for different organizational levels (Executive, Manager, and Individual Contributor).
Strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to support business stakeholder needs and communicate complex data clearly in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies.
