Job Description

The role involves leading business development efforts within the Intelligence Community by building strategic relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving growth for a technology company supporting federal agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans supporting the Intelligence Community.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company capabilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers across targeted agencies.
  • Create tailored client presentations and messaging to meet agency mission needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to lead business development efforts, including capture, proposal, and executive leadership.
  • Manage a qualified sales pipeline, monitor forecast accuracy, and contribute to proposal development and pricing strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry and government events to increase visibility and generate leads.
  • Support marketing strategies, teaming, and solution positioning within the federal market.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting or engaging with Intelligence Community organizations or equivalent government service agencies.
  • Demonstrated success in a business development or capture role within the federal space.
  • Deep familiarity with the DoD IC acquisition lifecycle, contracting vehicles, and procurement strategy.
  • Proven ability to build and execute account and call plans, campaign strategies, and long-range growth roadmaps of 6 to 48 months.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage C-level executives and agency stakeholders.
  • Track record of closing business, meeting or exceeding targets, and contributing to proposal wins.
  • Experience with CRM tools Salesforce and pipeline management processes.
