The role involves leading business development efforts within the Intelligence Community by building strategic relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving growth for a technology company supporting federal agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic growth plans supporting the Intelligence Community.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company capabilities.
Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers across targeted agencies.
Create tailored client presentations and messaging to meet agency mission needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to lead business development efforts, including capture, proposal, and executive leadership.
Manage a qualified sales pipeline, monitor forecast accuracy, and contribute to proposal development and pricing strategies.
Represent the company at industry and government events to increase visibility and generate leads.
Support marketing strategies, teaming, and solution positioning within the federal market.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting or engaging with Intelligence Community organizations or equivalent government service agencies.
Demonstrated success in a business development or capture role within the federal space.
Deep familiarity with the DoD IC acquisition lifecycle, contracting vehicles, and procurement strategy.
Proven ability to build and execute account and call plans, campaign strategies, and long-range growth roadmaps of 6 to 48 months.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage C-level executives and agency stakeholders.
Track record of closing business, meeting or exceeding targets, and contributing to proposal wins.
Experience with CRM tools Salesforce and pipeline management processes.
