Job Description
The role involves developing new business and managing customer relationships in the public sector by promoting Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions, with a focus on driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in the Bavarian region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business and build relationships with customers and channel resellers in the Public sector.
- Educate customers on Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions.
- Create and execute account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customer acquisitions.
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams to drive sales success.
- Lead pursuit teams and develop strategies to win new customers and expand existing accounts.
Requirements
- 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million euros in revenue per year
- Proven track record of selling to Public Sector clients
- Fluent in German and English languages
- Ability to lead a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with Partners
- Expertise in developing and managing a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
- Experience in building and investing in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction
- Ability to build and lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for winning new customers
- Experience in building a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time
- Ability to evangelize and explain all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
- Experience in leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas and driving reference-able business
- Strong prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center
- Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges
- Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions effectively
