Job Description

The role involves developing new business and managing customer relationships in the public sector by promoting Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions, with a focus on driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in the Bavarian region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and build relationships with customers and channel resellers in the Public sector.
  • Educate customers on Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions.
  • Create and execute account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customer acquisitions.
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams to drive sales success.
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop strategies to win new customers and expand existing accounts.

Requirements

  • 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million euros in revenue per year
  • Proven track record of selling to Public Sector clients
  • Fluent in German and English languages
  • Ability to lead a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with Partners
  • Expertise in developing and managing a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
  • Experience in building and investing in customer relationships to establish value and drive customer satisfaction
  • Ability to build and lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for winning new customers
  • Experience in building a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time
  • Ability to evangelize and explain all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Experience in leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas and driving reference-able business
  • Strong prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and navigate between the boardroom and data center
  • Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions effectively
  • Passion for post-sales customer success
