Job Description
The Navy Account Executive is responsible for driving strategic growth and managing complex sales cycles to promote all-flash storage solutions to the U.S. Navy, building long-term relationships, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver customized data storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts within the Navy.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including identifying customer needs, managing RFI/RFP processes, and negotiating contracts.
- Coordinate with technical teams, product managers, and external partners to design and deliver customized data storage solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Navy stakeholders at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Expert-level understanding of the Navy procurement landscape, including established relationships within the branch and a proven ability to navigate the complexities of Federal System Integrators and contract vehicles.
- A hunter mentality with a background in opening doors at new accounts, positioning disruptive technology against legacy incumbents, and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to achieve high-volume revenue goals.
- The ability to translate complex storage and security concepts into compelling business outcomes for both technical leads and executive-level decision-makers.
- Experience leading unified pursuit teams and leveraging CRM tools to provide accurate forecasting and territory management while maintaining a relentless focus on post-sales customer success.
