Job Description

The role involves developing new business and managing customer relationships as an Account Executive in the enterprise storage technology sector, working closely with partners and internal teams to drive sales and exceed quotas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and secure new customer accounts
  • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, partner sales, and marketing teams to drive success
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to close deals
  • Manage sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Work with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position products
  • Develop and implement strategies to close sales deals
  • Present proposals and communicate product benefits effectively

Requirements

  • 8 years of field sales experience
  • Experience with direct and indirect sales on Enterprise accounts, especially within the Malaysia Enterprise customers
  • Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners
  • Advanced prospecting skills in engaging new customers
  • Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
  • Ability to develop and implement account strategies to close deals consistently
  • Excellent communication skills, including time management and presentation abilities
  • Native bilingual proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and professional proficiency in English
  • Understanding of cloud computing and Data Centre Architecture
  • Strong drive for sales and relationship building
  • Goal-oriented attitude and desire to drive change
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to perform on-site work as this role is on-site
