The role involves developing new business and promoting innovative all-flash enterprise storage solutions through relationship building, strategic account management, and collaboration with partners, primarily focusing on enterprise clients in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business and secure new customers through direct and indirect sales efforts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction.
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to achieve sales targets.
Manage sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales quotas.
Collaborate with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position Pure Storage solutions.
Develop and execute strategies to close deals consistently.
Present proposals and communicate the benefits of Pure Storage solutions to clients.
Requirements
8 years of field sales experience
Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
Experience with direct and indirect sales on Enterprise accounts
Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners
Advanced prospecting skills in engaging new customers
Strong drive for sales and relationship building
Ability to develop and implement account strategies to close deals consistently
Excellent time management and communication skills
Business fluent proficiency in German and professional proficiency in English
Understanding of cloud computing and Data Centre Architecture
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Physical and mental ability to perform the duties of the role, including building relationships and managing sales activities
