Job Description

This role involves leading sales efforts for Pure Storage's enterprise accounts in the Bay Area, focusing on driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, managing complex sales cycles, and expanding market share through consultative engagement with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive predictable revenue growth by managing sales pipeline and exceeding revenue quotas
  • Establish and deepen relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
  • Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles from qualification to contract closure
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise accounts within the territory
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to translate technology into business outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience in managing and operating with high autonomy to craft and execute a comprehensive territory sales strategy with significant financial and technological impact.
  • Proven ability to lead and orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes from qualification to final contract, mobilizing internal resources such as Solutions Engineers, Executives, and external channel partners.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and deepening relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers to position the company as a long-term, trusted partner, thereby maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent activity that meets or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans, translating company technology into measurable business outcomes for IT and business leaders.
  • Authentic ability to engage with clients, demonstrate executive presence, and rapidly uncover deep-seated business challenges to position high-value solutions.
  • Possession of a Challenger Mindset and thought leadership, with the creativity to apply customer insights and technology expertise to displace incumbent solutions and solve complex data problems.
  • Proven expertise in orchestrating and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes and fostering shared ownership with internal teams and external channel partners.
  • Mastery of territory management and prospecting skills, with a consistent focus on cultivating a healthy sales pipeline and opening new logo opportunities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or related roles in the technology or data storage industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
