Key Responsibilities
Promote and communicate the value of all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers in Japan's social infrastructure sectors.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve industry-leading customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute account plans leveraging internal resources to acquire new customers.
Manage a sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
Lead project teams and drive the sales process for new customer acquisition.
Requirements
At least five years of corporate sales experience, primarily focused on new customer acquisition or business development.
Proven history of consistently exceeding targets and delivering business results strong enough to earn recommendations from customers and partners.
Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
Sincerity and passion to engage earnestly with customers primarily in Japan's social infrastructure sectors including electric power, gas, transportation, and construction, and to deeply understand their business challenges.
Ability to apply insight, creativity, and a challenger mindset to propose solutions to customer challenges by leveraging technical knowledge and Pure s product portfolio across a broad territory.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to build and deepen trusted relationships.
Strategic planning and execution capabilities aimed at maximizing revenue and improving operational efficiency within the assigned territory.
The ability to develop and execute account plans that fully leverage internal resources, lead project teams, and drive the acquisition of new customers.
Experience managing and maintaining a healthy and robust sales pipeline to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
Strong commitment to customer success even after contract execution.
Ability to understand and communicate the value of innovative and simple all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers in Japan's social infrastructure sector.
Technical knowledge and industry knowledge in the financial services industry is a plus.
Ability to read and understand English using translation tools (English conversation skills are not required but preferred).
